document.onMouseDown and document.onMouseUp hooks:
	works with NS4.5/Unix

document.onKeyDown and document.onKeyUp hooks:
	doesnt work with NS4.5/Unix

document.captureEvents() is said to work just like
window.captureEvents() the difference being that the
window also captures activity in the title and
menubar areas. i haven't seen it doing so, though...

nothing of this works with IE
